If you meditate at the little spa thing that we were supposed to build a few weeks ago, it doesn't take any energy, and it will occasionally give entertainment. The good thing is you can meditate over and over again without using energy.

ReplyDeleteWhat others don't remember is that this is a beta program and it will have problems..You might say we are the Guinea pigs. We play the game and report the problems. Even Sims 1,2,3 games had problems..They fixed it by putting a patch for the games..

I ask my friends to give me Relaxation and I see they gave it to me when I except my gifts, but its not giving me the relaxation. I still have the same amount as before I excepted the gifts. Is this happening to anyone else?
ReplyDeleteYou can get goodwill from cleaning other Sims (Your sim needs the "neat" skill at a certain level to do that). Mixing bowls and saute pans can drop from llamark cook-rite stovetop (from just normal use). I've seen all the Halloween items drop from the Halloween skill stuff (Haunted Writing Desk, Haunted Easel, Haunted Organ) and can drop from any Halloween weed. This list is missing a lot of stuff, too. I hope it gets updated soon :/

Newspapers can sometimes drop as an extra while performing writing skills on the computer. You have a better chance of things falling if you're inspired.
I have 98 friends that play, but have only received 3 ice. My friends say they are sending items, but I cannot complete tasks/quests because I cannot receive items. Plus I can only play 3-4 hours a week because the game is ALWAYS having tech issues! I have lost out on 5 of the quest give away items since Dec because of this!!!! GRRRRRRR

Newspapers sometimes drop while performing writing skills on the computer while inspired.
You have a better chance of any drop items dropping if you're inspired while performing actions that they drop from.
I hope this helps those trying to get newspaper.
If you add people you do not know, make a list with special permissions. I have added people that were friends of friends that play.
I cant seem to ask for Orchids, and it is really bugging me, as it is going to make me fail my Zen Garden quest!! any one know long it takes to be able to ask for them again??

ReplyDeleteAt the winter chalet it says you get snowflakes from the holly wreath outside the chalet, but the only wreath is on the door, and you can't click on it. It is so hard to get all the things you need to finish anything. I don't feel like the only option should be to ask friends or buy Sims cash. It is suppose to be a free game, and we can't force our friends to play, so it forces us to spend money if we want to finish quests. Kind of aggravating....I enjoy playing this, as it is just a fun way to escape day to day reality..but it is getting so it is just as frustrating at times due to the constraints of getting the ingredients. Please come up with better ways. If players want to spend money on Sims cash they will...and if they don't...they will simply stop playing when they can't finish things. This has happened to the other 5 friends I did have playing, now there is no one left to ask things for.......
