However we do know that Expiry Dates have been tested on a few Halloween Items and also The Limited Edition The Sims Social Poster but they don't look like they are going yet. As we understand it some really specific Halloween items will go but the none specific items may stay but it's still not official. That "Less than a minute left" banner was on my Video Camera in my Storate a few days ago and it gave me a bit of a scare.
ReplyDeleteNot knowing what the heck it meant, I grabbed the item out of storage and put it in my backyard just to keep it safe from whatever glitch or bug might have invaded the game now.
(There was one other item- something else received from a quest (not a Halloween quest) that had the same banner, but I don't remember what it was now.)
I can understand Halloween items going away from the Shop, some categories are pretty cluttered now, and adding other Holiday items would only make it more so when Christmas and other special times arrive. A few of the things are pretty general though, so I've been buying up ones I want to have just in case.
Oh.. one other related question-
ReplyDeleteAnyone have any idea whether the special Halloween skill items will continue to work after the Halloween items fade from the game..?
I'd like to fully level my Haunted Organ to get the special one, but I don't know how long it's going to take to finish up all the levels (I'm going as fast as I can).
Also, since Halloween items are needed to unlock levels in the Halloween skill items, will those Halloween items continue to drop when using the Halloween skill items..?
Probably no one really knows.. but it's been bugging me as I try to finish them up.
