The Ultimate Hot Tub Is Available Now

This weeks Limited Mystery Item has been released. As usual, The Sims Social players have only 48 hours to purchase the 119 SimCash Ultimate Hot Tub. This Special Items description reads 'You won't believe all the amazing things you can do with this baby'. That description however is slightly misleading, as the only actions available for use in your own home are 'Bathe' and 'Relax' which can raise 'Hygiene', 'Sleep' and 'Fun' needs.

I think you'll agree it certainly looks very romantic and classy, but we here at The Sims Social Fansite believe that it does not warrant the 119 SimCash price tag and if you already own the Social Points CreviClean Sensation Hot Tub then we insist you give this Limited Mystery Item a miss and save those vital  gold SimCash coins for the upcoming Christmas updates.

Let us know what your thoughts are on The Ultimate Hot Tub and if you will be buying it this weekend or if you have already bought it and have more details please share them in the Comments below, via Facebook, Forum or in our New The Sims Social Fansite Chat Room.

  2. I totally think you should give this away. I don't have enough simcash (well like..one simcash coin thing) to buy it. But keep it exclusive for just the people who love and enjoy your fansite. :') Because I'm DYING to get my hands on this hot tub but yeah. I lack simcash.

  3. Slightly misleading seems to be a bit of an understatement. With the description "You won't believe all the amazing things you can do with this baby," I had expected more than 2 interactions. A "bath" interaction and a "relax" interaction. Then I still have to spend 1 energy to "relax". Granted it does give 10 XP and a few Simoleons when you do relax but for 119 SimCash, a major disappointment that's for sure.

  7. I'm getting it since it fits in with a certain theme of mine. First simcash item I'm every buying.

Plus I find it looks better then the CreviClean Sensation Hot Tub which I think looks a little blah.

  8. I need ACTIVE neighbors who play the game every day and are willing to send me the ingredients I need for my quests and stuff.
I play several times a day and I'll send you everything you ask me for.

Just add me at http://www.facebook.com/ghunnter and leave me a message saying you're from The Sims Social.

  9. what i dont understand is why there isnt an alternate color for the hot tub.. if youre not a girl why would you want it.. i think its sexist. males should have a more suttle color option even if it is girl week. cant be prejudice.

  10. come on! think about people who doesn't have dolars! it's imposible to think about buyng sim cash! i think it would have been better to put this as the price of a week mission, not a little bird on jail

  11. Pink, as a light shade of red, used to be considered the strong manly colour, whilst the soft floral blue was used for girls. This switched around some time in the 1940s-50s I believe. I (as a woman) prefer blue to pink and I'd like more blue items, though I can't think of a holiday or event truly associated with a favourite bright blue that would see a release of the pink week calibre. Oh well. ^^ I'm happy with what's available already.

  13. I bought it because I like it better then the standard hottub, which I never used in my decoration of my house. With this and the pink rose trellies and the pink table and chairs I made a nice patio area. That will be my ownly indulgent into the pink world, that and my pink white bedroom. The rest of my house is still decorated in sci-fi mode. Want to save my simoleons, social points and cash for the Christmas stuff.

  15. Until I see how it works with my Soul Mate-sometimes Inspired SM-I must say that I am sorely disappointed with this item-just like the Robbie Robot joke!

I won't be buying a piano-pink or otherwise-cuz anything else I spend Simcash on will be Christmas Items!

I am a 'hardcore' Sim-er lol and I do spend quite a bit of money on this game.
Just very unhappy with the last two items. wish I hadn't missed out on the waterfall!

  17. For someone who complains about things being sexist, you sure sound hypocritical when you say males should have more colour options and that it is 'girl week'.
I'm a girl and I hate pink. So there.

  18. Earlier I said the interactions suck but...I ended up buying it...the interactions actually don't suck, I really like that it's simple and gets the job done. Needs are filled fast, you don't have to wait for your neighbor to get over to it, gives 3 social points, sim doesn't get bored...I'm happy I bought it! It is also not as expensive as previous limited items...I took that into consideration as well.

  19. I just got my Air and Air Pool and I think it does a better job than the Hot Tube. The Pool doesn't take up Energy and you get happiness through "Relax" and "Play". Too bad you can't invite neighbors over though.

I also got the Swing from Land Expansions. It costs 1 Energy but also brings your Social up without having to leave your house.

Did anyone get the "Pink Swing"... If so how is that different?

  20. I have the Air and Air Pool and I think it does a better job than Hot Tub. It doesn't cost any Energy and your get Happiness through "Relax" and "Play". Too bad you can't invite neighbors over though.

I also have the Swing from Land Expansion and for 1 Energy, you get a boost on my Social without having to leave your house.

Did anyone buy the "Pink Swing"... Wonder if it's different?

  21. this item for me is a big HECK NO with two stupid interactions. It talks as if theres going to be five or six different things to do in this, and 119 cash is extreme and crazy a price for a hottub. I dont even have the original one.U can get relaxation from regular free of charge fun actions.I can rest in my bed thanks.

  22. I bought it.I was a little disappointed that it didnt have more interractions, but it sure looks good=)

  23. You can make the regular hot tub look good with the right decorations. A few blossom fall, a couple of trees and pink swing and when that baby is sexy! As a hardcore Sim-er I knew what was coming with this one, been playing since Sims one with the original funnily layme expansions we thought were so cool. I have to say I thought it was a little expensive for what you get. At the same price as the piano and for a longer time span I prolly would have bought some Sims cash. As for being sexist you boys got Sci-Fi week so shut up. Even though I thought Sci-Fi week was layme they need to bring back Robbie the Robot. I just watched the film and I want one more than ever!
