By planting a Lettuce for just 8 Simoleons you will see a return of 55 Simoleons within 30 minutes but with the Energy Flower and Winter Pine additions you will gain not only additional cash but either extra Energy or an Ornament Ingredient. The Energy Flower will cost you 23 Simoleons to plant and after 24 hours will see a return of 78 Simoleons and a 3x Energy and by planting a Winter Pine for 21 Simoleons you will be 157 Simoleons richer after 16 hours have passed and will earn you an additional Ornament Ingredient. We are not sure if these new crops will stick around after Christmas but we have a feeling that due to only the Winter Pine being holiday related that the other two could well stay in the online Facebook game after the holiday season passes.
Let us know what you think of the new crops that have been added to The Sims Social. Do you give them a big green thumbs up or a a big green thumbs down? Let us know via Facebook, Chat, Twitter or in the Comments below.

LOVE the energy one....Thanx sim Gods :)
ReplyDeleteLettuce isn't new though
ReplyDeleteThis is great, I can't wait !!!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the garden looks covered in snow, cant wait to see my new crops grow xxx
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the energy flowers!!! They should definately stick around <3 ^_^
ReplyDeleteI love em. Already planted the pines to get ornaments haha. though after this I might plant energies instead.
ReplyDeleteAlmost 70 here....
ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful and faster too. You must have fixed some bugs.
I think we get a better return on the short-time plantings... in one hour you can get 15 energy ... why wait?
fun either way!
When I first started playing The Sims, I removed the plots. Does anyone know how I can get them back again, so that I can grow crops....?
ReplyDeletePlease make the garden plot available for simoleons. I made a mistake of selling my garden plots thinking I won't really need them. Now I can't finish that quest that requires planting crops. Please, I promise not to sell them again. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteyou can find the garden plots in the shop - garden :)I think you can buy them for 1000 simoleons
ReplyDeleteThanks for this game ... I'm loving it

I think they are cool. I just planted the pines, and can't wait to plant the Energy Flowers. I still would like to see a chart though showing which plants give you the most money per hour.
ReplyDeletePretty neat additions, although they're pretty worthless. I guess they're nice if you don't play often, but there are far more efficient ways to make money and gain energy and ornaments.
ReplyDeletechecking right now...yey! thank you. thank you. it's under outdoor items. i waited until the blue circle stopped circling and there it was. thanks! mwah!mwah!mwah!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for flower and pine! Extra energy and I'm in need of ornaments that I prefer to get myself than always ask my friends- got enough to ask them for anyway.
ReplyDeleteI hope the energy flower stays forever!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to buy more plots too...
