We know that the Daily Play Rewards have been slightly mixed up and complicated since The Sims Social developers made amendments and changes to them over the Christmas holiday period and some people were not receiving them for one reason or another.
From comments and further research this was partly down to a glitch and also how The Sims Social logged your daily visits. The old way was that you had to log in after 24 hours of your last visit to the game but before 48 hours for your visit to be logged. For example if you logged in at 02:00 then you would have to make sure you logged back in after after 02:01 and before 01:59 the following day, which also meant that your five days could end up being somewhere around nine days before you were granted your rewards, if at all.
As of this morning, Playfish have changed the way that The Sims Social Daily Play Reward timer operates. So in theory there should be no more bugs and players who weren't receiving them will begin to do so again.
The Daily Play Bonus will now reset at midnight (GMT). So make sure you log in before this time everyday and you should be fine, this means that you no longer have to remember when you logged in on the previous day. Another note left by The Sims Social staff is that if you are playing the game during the midnight reset, then you will have to log out of the game and reload it in order to obtain your subsequent Daily Play Reward.
From what we can see, it doesn't look like any amendments have been made to the rewards themselves and you still have the chance to earn up to 10 Free SimCash on your fifth consecutive day of playing The Sims Social online Facebook game.
We are glad to see that Playfish have worked hard at rectifying the problems with The Sims Socials Daiy Play Rewards, are you? Do they seem to be working fine for you now?
