The news that we broke about the Gender Specific Mystery Boxes Being Scrapped has taken another huge leap forward at being true today as The Sims Social Fansite can Exclusively reveal that a new Pool Mystery Box is currently in development with its own unique collection of Pool themed items to try and collect.It was mid February when we revealed the first ever images and details that the Gender Specific Mystery Boxes Were Coming Soon but since then Playfish seem to have decided not to implement them and it looks like they will be releasing the Male Mystery Box Clothing and Female Mystery Box Clothing in small random drops during other themed collections instead.
This has lead us to believe that they may never actually be released, but instead this new Pool Mystery Box will take its place and will be released in conjunction with the two week Pool Theme from Thursday 10th May with some of the below rare items available to collect:
The Pool Mystery Box Items above include: Paper Wall Lights, Stone Fountain, White Parasol, White Plastic Sun Lounger, Crane Statue, Frog Statue, Potted Palm Plant, Sea Horse Statue, Dolphin Statue.
At the moment there have only been nine Pool Mystery Box items drawn and we are still unsure as to whether more will be made available when they drop. Previous The Sims Social Mystery Boxes have been known to include anywhere between 12 to 20 items so this will either be the smallest ever selection or just a select few from a wider range. We believe that there could very well be more items to be included in the Pool Mystery Box as at the moment, although beautifully drawn they don't really include many stand out items that would tempt players to buy one.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty ^.^ I like the fountain and some statues but I wouldn't mind having them all. I'd need more item space for that since I'm reaching the limit (I've had to sell things already to make space).
