We can now safely consider the release of a Swimming Pool in The Sims Social online Facebook game to be official as we now have an image of what it's officially called, details of some of its interactions and the first official image of it.Initially, before The Sims Social had been released we were teased at things to come by a Video Of Upcoming Special Items from the developers of the game. In this video showed a rectangular Swimming Pool being drawn. Almost ten months later development of this Swimming Pool has been completed and it seems a few cosmetic changes have been made to the refreshing and entertaining special item with the main change being that it is now almost circular.
We understand that the Swimming Pool will in fact be called the Ataraxia Leisure Pool, it will be an Athletic Skill Item, will be built in stages throughout the two week Pool Theme and could possibly be handed out to all players for absolutely Free! Some of the new Ingredients needed to build the Pool are shown in the attached image.
Some very fun interactions will be available that we here at The Sims Social Fansite are very excited about. After completing the huge four stages of development you will be able to 'Swim Forwards, Swim Backwards, Hold Breath, Tread Water and Try For Personal Best'. All of those interactions sound great but we believe the fun will really start when you invite a Neighbour over to your home and play with actions like 'Race, WooHoo' and even 'Skinny Dip!'. That's right, there will be an option for you and a The Sims Social Neighbour to get naked and get wet together!
We have to admit that we are very excited about finally getting our hands on the much anticipated Swimming Pool in The Sims Social online Facebook game and can't wait for it to arrive in around two weeks time. they so need to slow down bad enough the pedi chair is a waste of time seeing you have to complete a set before you can start the nest then the third! ...the need to wait at least ten days before releasing this

DeleteYes! I never got to finish my tower due to errors, I had errors with my sauna which I complained about and now this chair was unfinished.

I agree 10000X with the previous posts. Each week is something to build, and each week mine goes unfinished. Considering there are few of my friends whom actually play the game, getting items isn't always the easiest thing. I sometimes regret the decision to play the 'social' at all, and just want to go back to the sims (good old CD or game format) where I can just buy what I need and like without all the unfinished items and quests, and not to mention buildables.
DeleteI really don't see why most people can not complete these quests.. I have always been able to finish them within the first few days of their release.. :( I know what helped me, I added a few people that play all the time.. If you don't mind adding people that you do not know, it will help you out.. But I do understand that some do not like to do that kind of thing.. XD
DeleteYou can still finish them if you like its just the reward at the end gets expired. Like the zen garden, when thats finished you get a sauna but even if it's expired you can still finish the garden?
Delete@Lynn XD: perhaps some of us don't have the time to sit on our backsides all hours of the day to complete tasks set out. Tasks should at least be extended to a period of 1 week that is how long a new weekly item lasts so why not the tasks? I work and when i don't work im busy running errands or busy doing house work. Im sure you can understand that if you had a life too. No offence.

ReplyDeleteI think you should make the Quest last longer & they take too many things! I live on this game & rarely can finish a Quest to get whatever is the free reward! Game is very Aggravating & still needs to be fixed! Re-load constantlry & page always says Done but with errors!

ReplyDeleteone.But I sure hope it will not be paid for with Sims cash. And the thing about skinny dipping, why have all the sex in a game for all ages? I am 66 years old,and love the game,play every dyy. Some quest can not be compleated unless you really almost have sex.With only my son in law and soon to be son in law, I just cant do that.So a lot of the quest,I just can not do.Lets not make sex a must.
yay a pool fabulous love the idea, but please not 4 stages this is too long, i play every day and my manicure chair is still unfinished and i won't get time to finish it now yes, please slow down, i can't help wondering if the reason there is so many bugs in this game is because the new themes are rushed into and released before they are fully ready!

ReplyDeleteAlways a catch with claiming free items and who has the time to sit for hours and complete a time set task let alone spend your money to complete the task quicker. Which in my case im not spending my hard earned cash ever again.
you have to build it its free but you have to go through at least 21 of those building things to get the pool and do it withing 10 days to get the 50k added to your house value oh and its a permanent quest on your side thing so it may never go away

DeleteI cannot even place my pool... whoever the game developers...playing games should be a form to de-stress...NOT be stressed by time lines and dead lines?? PLUS... the game is UBER buggy tooo...many a times I had to reload and reload.... extremely unfair to the player...

I find out I don't have much time left to do all the things that is need to build it, do you think they will let us finish it, by buying the rest of the skills? I have six people that i share this computer with and we are haveing problems.. all playing the game and none of us can finish..
ReplyDeleteI am having trouble finishing this quest. It is going on my 3rd day of trying to ask for items, and I am unable to ask my friends for anything thing. ( I only have 3 more days to finish the quest.)
