The Sims Social Fansite team have been voting on April's Top 15 Houses for the past week and including the public vote via The Sims Social Fansite Facebook Page a winner has been chosen based on the usual points system scale. As usual all of The Sims Social homes entered have been judged on Style, Space, Design, Flow, Beauty, Creativity and Originality regardless of SimCash purchases or House Value.
There seems to be a selection of elite The Sims Social home designers emerging, as three of our top five managed to break into the top five last month too. Zaka Thrusta's black home is minimal and well set out but we love how our eyes are drawn to the ponds by the cleverly designed bridge and garage the most. The Arabian theme has been used a lot in this months entries and no one really shows it off better than Katka Kavecanska who placed fourth.
(From Top Left to Bottom Right) 5th - Zaka Thrusta, 4th - Katka Kavecanska, 3rd - Nawi Naw, 2nd - Koko Moloko
Nawi Naw had an amazing month last month by not only winning but also taking second place with a second house design in The Sims Social Home of the Month March. This white Arabian palace was again one of writers favourites but unfortunately the public vote didn't provide it with as many votes to allow it to climb higher up the rankings this month. Koko Moloko's home is definitely one of the most original and creative we've seen as they have created a whole street with its very own sky scraper and definitely deserves second place.
However the winner of this months competition is WooHoo Sims who won it in February, came third in March and has managed to be the first ever entrant to win The Sims Social Fansite Home of the Month crown twice by placing first in this months competition. His Arabian Nights themed abode flows brilliantly, the colours are glorious and the Cave of Wonders to the rear of the house really steals the show and was favoured by the majority of the public vote and writers too. This WooHoo Sims creation will now sit on The Sims Social Fansite front page for the whole of April and he will receive 250 SimCash as a prize for his fantastic effort:
The winner of next months competition will also have the chance of winning our amazing 250 SimCash prize! So get your The Sims Social houses pruned and into ship shape and enter May's 'Home of the Month' competition by going to our Forum and uploading your The Sims Social home pictures under Home of the Month>May. The forum topic is now open and will be until the end of the month. You MUST remember to add a link to your Facebook profile with your submission and 'Share' at least one of our articles from the past month to be eligible to win, as quite a few were disqualified this month for not following the rules.

These are cool themes, but I saw better ones submitted (not mine) that should have placed and won. Oh, well... To each, his own.
ReplyDeleteIts also about who you know that will promote your house..having a good design reputation is very important.
DeleteThe winner used a lot of simcash, but it is still creative. I am glad to see a winner who did not stack anything. The houses that are 2 and 3 stories are pretty to look at but impractical to visit. Most of the items are hard or impossible to interact with and the houses are incomplete with no bathroom and kitchen.
ReplyDeletethe winner did stack :p the square brick walls you cant place on top of each other (so he stacked those), and the vault he/she obviously used stacking :p
ReplyDeletestacking is art.
How dit you get your house that way?
ReplyDeleteAnd cars and everything!
how to make the second floor?
ReplyDelete3D
Deletewow
ReplyDeleteHow to make the second floor? please tell!
ReplyDeletestack them
Deletehow do you make your house into stories???
ReplyDeleteIsn't it about time to announce the houses people can vote for now??
ReplyDeleteUsing Simcash is the easy way out. Why not reward those who wait patiently to receive the elements they ask their friends to send for completing goals. Using credit cards to me is in a way cheating, it´s a game and should be kept simple, for everyone to play fairly.
ReplyDeletewie geht das mit dem 2. stock? ja man kann stapeln, aber wie bekommt man zb den boden hin??
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Alex, if we all had unlimited simcash we would have an amazing no cash limit house. On the other hand I think mine is prettier than some winners and iv used nothing but simols :)
