The SimPhonic Jukebox was originally meant to be released as part of the Tycoon Mystery Box Items back in December but was removed before its release. This music providing entertainment machine will now see the light of day as a featured item for Rock & Roll Week where we believe it will be a Free Project Item.

The game is very slow at the moment and it is impossible to play!
ReplyDeleteFor 3 days now, Everytime I tried to post for the play button on the last level of the 1st half of the jukebox, it has froze up on me. Not allowing my request to post on my wall. There is no way humanly possible that I will be able to finish this quest along with 2 others in the past for the same issue with the game. This is not fair. I have a house, yard & 3 children to take care of. I spend far to much time on this game that I should be spending on my life. I really wanted to complete this quest. Just like all of them. However, with all the blurps in the game I felt this one would make up for the issues I've had in the past if I could complete this one. With the 25k & all. i have spent all the simcash I had on play buttons. What little of it I had. I still need 1 more & can't request it again until 10 am tomorrow morning. By that time the quest will be expired. I have also, visited my neighbors & played on there jukeboxes trying to earn play buttons. With no success. I am very upset. I appriciate anything your could do to help me & aother players. PLEASE GIVE US A REASONABLE EXTENTION ON THIS QUEST & SEND OUT A FEW FREE PLAY BUTTONS. DeleteI totally agree, the only way I could complete all quests is spending real money (and lots of it) along with sitting in front of my Sims Social 24/7. Lighten up with all the quests and let us just have fun.

DeleteI agree too, they're making it too difficult to complete the timed quests to get the reward items because of having to beg other players for or buy materials, plus the fact that the game seems to have a lot of glitches that don't let players in around the end of the timed quests. I've learned the hard way not to use sim cash to buy any materials at the end. I lost real world money that the developers never refunded because I bought items then got locked out of the game due to a load error until the quest ran out of time.
DeleteTo make matters worse, when I request gifts for the quests, half the time they don't even show up in friends' inboxes. I'm going to fail the skates quest for that reason. It's cruel and absurd.

DeleteI also totally agree. Too many quests at one time. The Timed quests are the worse because - you are playing and next thing you know all that you have been doing didn't get saved by Sims, the time you spent on it is gone and so is the time for the quest. The things that you need doesn't come up enough. There should be more energy given out. I quit playing farmville, and cityville just because of the quests and lack of energy to finished the things in the games. I like playing Sims but it is starting to become over welming.

ha! who does NOT agree with you on this. I've had to bring my laptop to work and find wireless around a shady building just so that I could work on these quests. They need to slow down a little bit and give us more time on these quests. Some of us have rent to pay and can't be playing Sims 24/7 in order to get all the quests done on time. They shouldn't even begin until we click a "yes" or something. I think their trick is to try to get us to use simcash (real money) to finish these quests, but how many of us are REALLY willing to do that?

DeleteI love the buildable items! Adds a challenge to the game. The spa chair was a little much, but the mermaid statue was able to be built very quickly. I finished mine in 8 hours. The good news for people who need more time is that you can really build things whenever you want. You only have to finish them on time if you want the item it gets you. And they have been giving so much extra time - 14 days for a statue you can build in under a day? No sense complaining. If they stop the buildable items, people will get bored. People are already complaining that there is nothing to do when they finish early. So if you don't like building them, then don't! :P
ReplyDeletehave you had two days of error messages, problems with loading or your mailbox? if not then that's why you are so happy to finish. all of your friends play actively and give you the items you ask for too you don't have over 100 friends that claim to be sims players with only 25 playing some of the time and it is obvious that you have no life outside of sims because you need to build energy up and materials. i guess that's why you pay so much simcash to finish in 8 hours.

DeleteI thought that I played a lot. I play Sims Social at least 5 hours out of every day. I'm meaning 5 total hours of time per day, seven days a week. That is a lot.... Maybe a little too much, and I didn't even finish the mermaid statue that quick. I'm also having trouble finishing the jukebox. So I know for a fact that those of you that claim to only take 8 hrs to finish these quests or a short amt of time, that #1 playing TSS is ALL that you do and you are a loser or #2 you blow a ton of real money to finish them early which also is kinda sad.
DeleteFor those who don't like the buildable items, just don't build them on time. You will still be able to finish them later but you just won't get the item it gets you for finishing it quickly. If you don't like doing them all, choose your favourites.

A lot of people are getting bored in between quests, too. I have seen so many people either complain that there are too many or not enough buildable things. Everyone just choose the ones you want to do and deal with it. When you're done the timed quests, do the other quests. It's important for us all to remember that it's a freaking free game and stop whining! lol
if there weren't so many bugs a lot of us would not be complaining because we would be able to complete the quests on time without issues. bugs caused me to not be able to finish at least two of my quests :(

Nope they have only given us 6 days to complete a 2 stage buildable, this is ridiculous! i have maybe 20 neighbours that log on every day, so theres no point in me trying to do this! Especially since i send my requests, my neighbours accept them and i STILL don't get what i requested and on top of that then i run out of requests. I am STILL trying to finish the mermaid statue!!!

It goes to my Timeline (when I'm lucky) but never scrolls into the newsfeed so I can see it. I have no idea if others r seeing it or not but I'm sure not on my end. ReplyDeleteCreate a group in your Facebook and tag all your Sims playing friends and then select that group every time you request. That way it goes to each of them individually. Works much better.

ReplyDeleteI gave up on this one. The requirements asked for too many facebook click requests and even the people I added strictly for the game dont click enough for me to complete this. Besides the reward for the quest chain is not as good because I already have the ninja trait. Hopefully next week wont be so bad with requests.

Everyone seems to have problems but me, you know what i do? i have constant flow of energy whenever i need it. I always have people send me energy and since the sim social now doesnt let you have 'bulk' energy or anything else i leave it in my mail until i need it. It makes it TEN TTIMES EASIER and everyone should do it if youre having energy issues. I love the sims social, i play A LOT, and ive never spent real money, EVER. and if youre lacking neighbors, and dont mind random friends, go to the add me forum. I used to have 2 people that played the sims social and now i have AT LEAST 67. it helps tremendously.
ReplyDeleteMajor glitch with this at the moment - has been going on for days - have no way of getting idea. Either it doesn't let me select friends to request and/or they never receive it at the other end. Given that there is no other way to earn them - I will most likely be unable to earn the jukebox in time for the roller skates. Come on guys - listen to your customers and fix the problem!
ReplyDeleteYeaaa, I'm doing ok on the quest, but my boyfriend's snags when he tries to ask for hype. Now he has to wait 24 hours to ask again, and there's no way he's going to make it in time. =\ I've had this problem before as well, as many others have had, and it's pretty frustrating. They realllly need to fix the bugs before releasing so much new stuff.
ReplyDeleteMine snagged and said refreshing when I asked for the vinyl record, and when it reloaded it says waiting for friends to respond, but it never posted to my wall. I hate when that happens because like you said you have to wait a day, and I don't have a day to spare, it's stupid ea's fault why it had to reload. UHH frustrated like your boyfriend. I think the whole waiting for your friend to respond should only have a 6 hour or 12 window, instead of a day. Especially with all the bugs ea has been having.

I work over 10 hours a day, and during this time I can't be online to play I have a real life and probably play once or twice a day. I have several active neighbors and try my best to log in every day. Always answer requests and send petitions. NEVER use real money to finish quests and always manage to finish them without stress :-)

ReplyDeleteWhen this game started, I was very enthusiastic and used to play many times a day, even brought many friends to this. But since the beginning of this year, when there were so many bugs that prevented me even from making requests or sending gifts, besides all these dual quests with buildable items, things that made my friends stop playing. They now can only be completed by those who have a LOT of friends (I'd say hundreds) and play several times a day.

ReplyDeleteMy problem is I ask friends for sheet music where indicated to build the juke box and they send it but the game sends the sheet music to other projects (the keyboard skill levels). Why would it do that? Very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteI am disappointed with the incredibly long upload time for my SIMS and other neighbors that have many items. I suggest that time quests be extended or ended all together. Unless Play-fish can find a way to speed up the game so players with a lot of items and players with the bare minimum can still have the equal amount of time available to complete quests. I am actually getting tired of the game waiting for several minutes as each thing comes slowly one at a time. Just to be exasperated while the game goes snapped! Meanwhile, I can not get the ingredients needed to complete quests!!! I really want the roller skates because I am sick and tired of watching my Sims strolling about ( I have max Ninja speed) when I need to get her moving. Please END the timed quests or lighten them up...I mean, why do they need to spin around the jukebox SO many times anyway!!! ReplyDeleteonly few hours left before the quest is expired. The skill bar to be fulfilled is too long and the ingredients are really hard to get. I've added more new friends(strangers) to play with just to get the ingredients faster. But still, All I need is a longer quest period. Maybe The Sims Social wants us to sit in front of the PC all day long playing the game n do nothing else . :P
