The other more basic clothing offers some Nacy Beach Shorts for 1000 Simoleons, Sand Sandals for 500 Simoleons and the only premium item are some even tinier Shorts named 'Striped Beach Shorts' for 19 SimCash.
Don't forget that there's more Shorts in the rest of The Sims Social store like the 'Striped Shorts' for 400 Simoleons, 'Spartan Briefs' for that more revealing look or alternatively a much nicer and cheaper premium pair of trunks called the 'Urban Beach Shorts' for 15 SimCash. This also applies to Flips Flops as there are a couple of pairs for a ridiculously low price of 200 Simoleons.

I guess I never used the separate clothing options before but once I noticed that my sim kept changing to an ugly bathing suti when she got in the pool instead of the one I bought I went to change it in the clothing area. I was shocked when I found that in order to have the bathing suit be available to wear as a bathing suit and not as my normal outfit I had to rebuy it. Shouldn't I own it outright? Is this a glitch or have we always had to buy doubles on clothing?
ReplyDeleteIt isn't a glitch. If you change your outfit in the casual outfit setting, what you have purchased will be put into storage. Then if you select your bathing suit, you can choose what you have purchased. But if your bathing suit is still the outfit for your casual outfit, then the article of clothing is in use, and will not appear in storage to be available for your bathing suit option.
