Fansite Picks | Fitness Week

Each week The Sims Social Fansite brings you our Fansite Picks which tries to sift out the best from the rest from the items and furniture released for each specific collection or theme that drops into The Sims Social online Facebook game each week. This week we will be outlining what we believe are the best four items from Fitness Week.

Fitness Week in The Sims Social has brought many SimCash items out of the woodwork and doesn't offer very much choice for stunning furnishings but here are a few items that we love but don't make our top four this week.

The Okea CityClimber Patio Shrubs really are a beautiful item and will brighten up any home and we believe they are worth the 35 SimCash price tag for there beauty alone but we imagine players would like more interactivity in order to purchase a gold price tagged item. The CitySim Sleek Clock and Okea CityClimber Lamp are two items that are also very different and will add a very modern, sleek and contemporary feel to any Littlehaven abode and both hold a relatively small price tag.

The View From Above By S.Leon wall art is another item that we don't believe will be everyone's cup of tea but if you have a stylistic home then your walls could very well be bare without this. The Okea CityClimber Sofa is another item available for less than 800 Social Points that looks great and holds some very clean lines and barely missed out in making our Fansite Picks this week.

The top four items we here at The Sims Social Fansite love the most from the Fitness Week collection are the Mr Fitt's SimZum Mat Athletic Skill Item that is available for Free from The Sims Social store and will help you in completing the Gymtastic! Quest. The Okea CityClimber Wallflowers can be utilised in creating or dividing rooms and gardens whilst still making your virtual home look pretty and don't cost an arm and a leg.

The final two Fansite Picks this week are SimCash items, the first being the CitySim Sleek Phone that is the most modern and stylistic design we've seen drop into The Sims Social since launch and we personally love it. It won't provide you any more interactions than previous telephones however it certainly does look the best. The Okea CityClimber Media Wall is rather expensive at 79 SimCash however it will certainly be the focal point of your home if included, it will raise your 'Fun' need whilst helping your Sim relax, watch TV or dance around, all electronics freaks should add this piece of style to their The Sims Social home if they can afford it.

What do you make of our Fansite Picks this week? Have we missed any of your favourite items from Fitness Week in The Sims Social online Facebook game? Do you own any of them? What do you make of the items and furnishings overall for this theme? Share your thoughts with us by either leaving a Comment below or by visiting our Facebook, Twitter, Forum or Chat Room.

  1. Almost everything is for simcash. Most players, like myself, just play the game for fun. Only hardcore Simmers would drop $$ for decorative game items. The things we buy we earn by working. Besides, "Okea"?!? (Ikea)??? please! We won't even drop $$ for the real stuff for ourselves!!

None of these items are my cup of tea. The quests are even pretty bad, but it's okay because, as usual, I'm still trying to finish the angel bed for hells sakes. Their quests are so long and difficult and they only give a player enough time to finish half of it (including all the bugs), so it really has to be pretty good for most to even attempt them anymore. I hear "hippy week" is coming...again, not my cup of tea. I was around the real hippies and, trust me, there's nothing at all "fun" or "attractive" about being drugged out of your mind, filthy and beating people with protest signs. All the kids today know of the hippies is what the old hippies put out there, which is romanticized crap, not the truth. But I guess Playfish has to be fair...they gave us the real 60s ("madmen" style), so they want to give players the romanticized version of the hippy. They don't know any better...

I wished they would do 1930s Hollywood...but, we'll see. As for this new stuff, bleh. Too costly and will be out of date too soon in the Sims world.

  2. love that the fansite posts all new items again, instead of just fansite picks. Very helpful reference when a player wants to decorate according to a previous theme. With this full listing from fansite, it would be much easier to ‘sort out’ the relevant theme by looking at the price.
