It seems the three most popular theme ideas are a Date Night Theme, Art Deco Week and the most popular being a Vampire Theme which were all closely followed by a Geek Week. All of these we believe will be great collections and will open up items and designs yet to be touched by Playfish and The Sims Social and really hope they are put into development for the future.
Other theme ideas like Retro Sci Fi Week and Nordic Design Week didn't fair too well in our mini Poll where nearly 2000 of our readers voted in which surprised us a little. What are the reasons behind choosing your favourites? Let us know why you chose your answer and for what reasons you'd prefer it over the other theme ideas by either leaving a Comment below or alternatively visiting our Facebook, Twitter, Forum or Chat.

Instead of "Retro Sci-Fi" how about calling it STEAMPUNK week instead? That'll be really cool! It gets my vote. Vampires are so pedestrian these days, hohum! ;)

I voted for Nordic Design, but then I'm Scandinavian and would love to see what the devs would make out of this kind of theme:-) The dark look has been seen in so many variations up until now (Halloween/Dark wonderland theme/Evil theme...) that I don't trust the devs creativity enough to be excited for a Vampire theme.

ReplyDeleteWhen WAS this mini poll? And where do you even have them? I swear I NEVER see them!! :D Nordic Design would be my favorite,hands down. (And not just because I'm Swedish-American) :) The American-Colonial theme sounds awful though!! (& in my personal opinion, the Vampire theme sucks! -pun intended- waaayyyy too cliche to be interesting!)

ReplyDeleteArt Deco week or Nordic Design sound like you could do a lot with them. I agree with Embla, there have been so many dark variations that I feel like we won't see anything too spectacular or creative.
