The first of the five Project Items that can be unpacked and built is the ColleXion Dressing Room which is already available to you for Free and is located to the right of your new Apartments elevator door. 37 Simoleons can be earned from the completed ColleXion Dressing Room Project Item when Inspired which isn't a lot but spendable virtual currency isn't the real purpose here, it's the knowledge of knowing the end result will reveal a fully kitted out Apartment and a smile on your Sim avatars face. ReplyDelete3 levels left to complete. It sure does take A LOT of shoes to make that thing. I like that it isn't insane like the BBQ was though. I wonder how bad the other stuff will be to build? That's a lot of items required for this loft. I have over 100 friends who play but it still takes forever to get ingredients. <___<

ReplyDeleteYou can get your friends to "admire" themselves and share with friends. Go to their wall and click on reveive gift and you get glamour every time
DeleteTell your friends to "admire" themselves then share with friends. Go to their wall and click claim gift. You get a glamour for every one. I got like 8 glamour in 2 min. That's the only way I was able to get any. You need them to make the thimble too.

DeleteI have started building, however, I am very disappointed to see everything that we will need for Stage 3 & 4. It is nearly impossible to do all of this without a ton of neighbors. I also don't like when we have to "craft" stuff just to get the ingredients we want. I really don't know why EA takes the fun out of everything, because this isn't fun as far as I am concerned.

DeleteI am quicklly losing interest in this project and Sims Social because they make all of the stuff so hard to get. I was excited to get to stage 3 and 4, but was quickly disappointed with all the stuff that is required to finish. I only have a couple of friends who play this and they are tired of being hammered with requests from me. Maybe I'll just go back to playing the regular Sims--where I can build stuff without the hassle.

DeleteYes. I wasted a lot of energy on that. I think it's a glitch. If you can get your friends to "admire" themselves in the mirror of the vanity then share with friends, you can go to their wall and claim the gift. You get a glamour every time. It's really helpful. I got like 8 in 2 min.

DeleteYeah glamour is the hardest thing to get on here since you can't grow it like the beauty and that it doesn't come out of the dresser like the perfume bottle and magazines. Plus the keyboard doesn't give you any all it does is give you melody and muse and metronomes which isn't helpful :/ I say more freebies for glamour or make it more easily available since the only option is cleaning newspaper but most of the area is locked away so we can't do that.

ReplyDeleteThis is really ridiculous for those of us who don't have everyone on our friends list playing. The reward is worth it, but they should really make it less obnoxious. And maybe allow us to request more than one item per neighbor in a 24 hour period. :(
ReplyDeleteIt really waste time.. and the worse part is, that you have to hurry finishing the quests, and at last, you wont be able to use your free stuff for anything :/ I hate the ingridients that you can't get in any other way than from friends, cause I don't have that many friends playing sims social - is that supposed to mean, that I can't have any of the fun stuff? I think the game is fun, but the quests are only for people who don't have any life besides sims social :/
ReplyDeleteIt's really a waste of time, these quests that is on time. You can't do it without having a hundred of friends playing, and if you have a life besides the sims social, the time is not there...Seriously, sims social is fun, but these quests are only made for crazy sims fanatics :/
ReplyDeleteI hope they do something to remedy all the bugs with glamour. First I run out of garbage ages ago (understandable I suppose) then I waste heaping amounts of energy on the keyboard (why didn't they tell us days ago when they knew it was a bug?), so finally I'm like ok have to ask more people, and my requests don't even go through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then there's the view self in mirror thing, I don't have many friends on sims, and they aren't doing that. Sims, I'm never able to finish anything on time, I didn't finish the angelic bed, and am still paying for it because I can't get any of those items anymore....

I don't know anyone who has managed to gain it from the keyboard drop, and I have spent a ridiculous amount of energy on the keyboards not to mention all of that 20 free simcash buying Glamour and still don't have enough to complete the quest. ReplyDeleteIs it just me or has sims social been acting weird again... I've requested glamour from many people 2 days in a row, and they say that they sent them to me but I never got them? It's really hard to finish a quest when I'm not getting any of the stuff I requested. If this happens again I'm honestly done with sims social.

ReplyDeleteIt's really annoying that you have to friend tons of people you don't know or spam your existing friends with requests in order to get glamour. EA needs to hurry up and fix the keyboard-glamour thing or I'm just going to give up once again. Seriously, every time I try to start a project in this game, I hit a brick wall. I simply refuse to a) spend money on virtual items b) friend complete strangers and c) spam my friends until they feel like un-friending me. I'm alright with watching a few advertisements or sending a few requests but EA is asking way too much of me! Like third Anonymous said, this is not fun!

I don't think the keyboard gives any glamor, if it does well then it's a really slim chance then(Which they should fix). On the "free stuff" page we can claim perfume bottles, fashion magazines, and beauty, these items we could find from doing the jobs on the closet. But there is no glamor the only item which we couldn't get and is in high demand of.

ReplyDeleteWell, great, I'm 4 days away from the end of this quest and I still have the entire 4th stage of the Dressing Room to complete. I got stuck for over a week just trying to get my request for Glamour to go through. What happens if I don't finish the stupid Dressing Room on time? Do I lose the Penthouse altogether? Obviously I have zero chance at the reward. If I can finish this whenever I get around to it, that will be good enough, but this is a massive waste of my time and effort otherwise, and if that happens I guess I'll be looking for a FB game that doesn't treat me like my time and effort is inconsequential.
