PART 1
*Have Your FREE Loft
Click on your 'Locations' tab and click 'Buy Now' on the new City location on the Littlehaven map.
PART 2
*Buy Either The New SleepBurb MetroSet Bed Or SleepBurb MetroRise Bed For Your Loft!
Visit The Sims Social store and purchase either one of the two new beds for 1500 Simoleons and place it in your home.
*Click The Dressing Room Project In Your NEW Loft And Complete The First Task!
Uncover the Dressing Room Project from under the white sheets in the most northern room to the right of your new Penthouse Apartment then complete the 'Add Mirror' Mastery Level with 5 Energy to complete this task.
*Have Cleared 5 Pieces Of Garbage From Your Loft By Clicking Them And Clearing
Click on the empty dark brown boxes and grey floor sheets around your new Penthouse Apartment and use the 'Clear' interaction on them. You must do this to five different pieces of garbage to complete.
PART 3
*Complete Stage 1/4 Of The Dressing Room Project
Complete all five Mastery Levels within the first stage of building the Dressing Room Project Item.
*Click Sofas 3 Times Then 'Search For Key'. Maybe You Left It At A Sims House?
Find 3 different Sofas either at your houses or Neighbours homes in The Sims Social and use the 'Search For Key' action on each of them.
*Click A Sim Then 'Seen My Key'?
Either ask over a Sim or visit a Neighbours house, click on the other Sim and use the 'Seen My Key?' interaction on them.
PART 4
*Have 3 Beauty
If you do not already have Beauty then you can either ask your friends to send you some or you can plant and harvest the new Rose crops from your Garden Plots for a chance at dropping them.
*Have 4 Soapsuds
If you do not already have Soapsuds then you can either ask your friends to send you some or you perform Hygiene interactions like showering, bathing, washing hands etc for a chance at dropping them.
*Complete Stage 2/4 Of The Dressing Room Project
Complete all of the Mastery Levels within the second stage of building the Dressing Room Project Item.
PART 5
*Have 5 Glamour
If you do not already have Glamour then you can either ask your friends to send you some, Clear newspapers from around your Penthouse floor or perform Skill actions on a Keyboard for a chance at dropping some. Your new City Apartment has a Free Liebefunkenmann SS-10 Keyboard in it in case you don't already have one.
*Complete Any 8-Hour Career Appointment
Click on the 'Careers' icon at the bottom left of your The Sims Social game screen and go to work via any 8 Hour Career appointment. This task will complete once you have come back after the alloted time and completed the 8 Hours of work.
*Complete Stage 3/4 Of The Dressing Room Project
Complete all of the Mastery Levels within the third stage of building the Dressing Room Project Item.
PART 6
*Complete Stage 4/4 Of The Dressing Room Project
Complete all of the Mastery Levels within the fourth and last stage of building the Dressing Room Project Item.
I don't get this quest!!! I have bought the bed, and cleared 5 pieces of garbage, but I can't clear any more. I am not sure I even want to do the quest. I just wanted to get in there, clear the garbage, and furnish it with stuff I already have! What is this uncovering the dressing room project anyway? I didn't want a "dressing room"! The big room was to have been my kitchen/dining room, with room for a spa? Please explain. Please explain how to bypass the quest and just clear the rooms to furnish as we wish... This is the first quest I just do not even understand... :-(

DeleteI wish they'd fix the problem where if you press 'ask friends' but then don't publish it, you can't press it again to actually publish. Its not my fault if Facebook messed up the publish screen, why should I have to wait 24 hours?! Ugh.
ReplyDeleteThis quest involves everything I HATE in the Sims Social: unpacked boxes, mess, unfinished rooms, and, after a long and arduous process, a new location that is "supposed" to look like a clone of everyone else's, making the Sims Social even more boring than before?! :P
ReplyDeletei think the loft idea is great. What i don't think is great is how we were still struggling to finish the BBQ when the country/fireworks build/quest came out, and we are not even done with that if anyone actually has a life outside of the internet, and they drop this on us. I have two houses littered with unfinished items, weeds, dirty appliances, and lot garbage that I have no time to do anything about because it requires every energy and every item request to do the quests/build for reward deadlines. I just wish they would take a breath and let us actually play instead of being on this frantic treadmill attempting to complete one huge thing after another!

As if they don't make enough money on the games they have been selling for years and years. A little direction would be nice, and some more freebees wouldn't hurt. I have been sending gift requests for weeks and have only gotten a few responses. NEVER used to be like this >:(
DeleteNot liking this at all--why should we have to jump through hoops to get furniture we may not need or want and do tasks we may not have the time or inclination to do in order to get a "free" penthouse? It's not free if you have to expend time or money to be able to do what you want with it. I don't want to do the quest, I don't want any of the furniture, I just want to be able to use the space as I want and fill it with the stuff I already have sitting in storage, just like we were able to do with the beach house.

ReplyDeleteim really excited about this quest.. i even wake up early in the morning just to be one of the first player to clean the penthouse but...unfortunately my inbox got broken..i can see someone send me a request through the notification..i can also read their request but my inbox still is empty..if ever i can see the request in my inbox and click accept or help out...it says"gift cant accept, rpc failure" and then i try to reload the game but...i dont have any meassage..its a waste of time and also a waste of gifts and request that i dont even claim...im really mad about it

ReplyDeleteI like the pent house idea but I think it sucks that I can't move the doors or the hot tub or the big screen t.v, if we complete all the rooms will we be able to move the items that are locked because it's really frustrating that you can't change anything, I mean the layout is one thing but the doors really? I don't like they're current position.

ReplyDeleteI think this is unfair. I have done everything to complete the dressing room. I dont know what quest to fulfill to complete the finishing touch of the dressing room. I feel they just want you to drop monies on game even though it doesnt help you to complete the finishing touch. I have been at it for a while now and I am stuck because I do not know what quest needs to be completed. I think its a waste of time and money and this is very unfair. I am going to tell everyone dont ever bother because you cant even get an answer on the internet.

The bug where it acts like it asked friends for Glamour, but then actually doesn't, but I cannot send the request again, is still there. There is no way I will be able to finish this quest. It looks like the Halloween quest is out of the question as well. And I play for hours every day and have lots of friends. What is the point of this game if it's impossible to achieve anything with hours of hard work? Does Playfish make it just impossible unless we spend REAL MONEY? Well fine -- then remove all those ads from my page!

ReplyDeleteI can't find the last stages of the loft quest anymore. I saw the quest at a friend's game and there was the shower and the home office involved. I solved the loft quest up to the point where I have to finish the kitchen. But quests involving the shower and office haven't appeared. Where can I find them?
