Fansite Picks | Unsinkable Week One

The Sims Social hasn't disappointed us with the content for possibly one of the biggest themes to land in our favourite online Facebook game and we've been treated to some very exciting and original items and furnishings.

First of all we have the Cogsworth Time Machine which you will have had to tinker with at Bella's before sitting inside it and travelling back through time to the setting off of the T.S.S Unsinkable where you will have to build it back up to its former glory. On the Titanic replica you will also find the ArcSteam Automobile and Grand Master Stove Skill Items. The latter of which will be awarded to you to place in any of your normal Littlehaven homes after you have completed the Unsinkable Love (Part One) Quest.

Now we've covered the compulsory none store items we can move on to the best from the actual The Sims Social store in which you'll need either Simoleons, Social Points or SimCash to purchase.

There are two further Skill Items in here this week which include the 300 Social Points and rather good we have to say FootGroove Dance Floor and the premium only for the more hardcore The Sims Social player or violinists Finnegan's Fiddle Music Skill Item for 69 SimCash.

Our Fansite Picks however come in the form of the 100 Social Points Cogsworth Suitcase Stack that not only look pretty and ultra vintage but you can zap your Sim off to your backpack by just simply interacting with it. The 1000 Simoleons Cogsworth Sink is like nothing else you will find in any other Kitchen or themed collection and is definitely unique which we love and finally we have to say that it doesn't matter if you're living in the Victorian era or the modern day as the Cogsworth Hotpot will look right at home wherever you are and it's only 5 SimCash. You can of course raise your 'Hunger' need by eating from it too.

What do you make of this weeks selection of items, have we missed a favourite from our The Sims Social Fansite Picks? Which do you own and where have you placed them? Share your thoughts with us and other readers by either leaving a Comment below or by visiting our FacebookTwitterForum or Chat Room.

  1. I think they're doing too much; they're going to run out of ideas soon. They should slow it down with the quests especially with all the prizes. But that's just my opinion.

  2. I don't think it's fair to charge sim money for skill items. During the Christmas one, you gave me 41 sims but the next day I went to the game and I was back to 3. How can we save money for skill items when you take it away from us. Everyone should have equal chance on skill items, I don't think it's fair to charge for them. You can charge all you want for everything else, that's fair, but not the skill items.
