Sweet! im going to get some 7 up!
ReplyDeleteOMG OMG OMG SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWTH! why only US and Canada :| do they think sim/FB ends right there? Very upset!
ReplyDeleteWhy are these things usually only for residents of US and Canada? Are European (and other) TSS players considered second rate players? :(
ReplyDeleteNice! I wanted some of the Dr. Pepper items but no one in my house drinks it. Will be buying some of these products :)
ReplyDeleteI am feeling very thirsty!
ReplyDeleteI don't like any of those beverages!! :(
ReplyDeleteonly usa and canada
ReplyDeleteBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
It's not the Sims fault that these promotions are US/Canada only-that's the fault of the company sponsoring the promotion.
ReplyDeleteThey should do something like this for Europe and other parts too. I guess most of this drinks are sold only in the USA, so why not cooperate with something european, asian, etc. company?
ReplyDeleteI think it has something to do with laws and where the product is sold in regard to where the contest is promoted
ReplyDeletewhy cant they ever promote healthy items? all this seems to say to me is...buy lots of sugary soda, sit on your ass some more and play our game, and get fat. like, there isnt enough of an obesity and diabetes problem in this country already without only promoting sodas or fast food. this really bothers me.
ReplyDeleteSo... it's mean we, from others countries, cant get this free SimCash? Cool... totally cool!
ReplyDeleteyeah.. why only in usa and canada? there are a lot of other player in australia, europe, asia! come on people, what s wrong with you, this is not fair
ReplyDeleteIt's not a TSS only promotion. Its Facebook in general. If you dislike that its USA & Canada only, don't get mad at TSS or EA, get mad at Facebook and the soda company.
ReplyDeleteI think they will tell you that their reason is for legal reasons, but I don't know why that is necessary.
I did the math, and unless you can find the soda for $0.79 or less, you would actually be better off just buying facebook credits directly.
ReplyDeleteFor example, every 1000 soda caps will yeild $790 in facebook credits. If the cost of those sodas was 80 cents each, you wouldve just purchased $790 worth of facebook credits for $800, meaning you lost money. The only way you can possibly benefit from this deal is if you drink a lot of these sodas already, or if you buy in bulk (like 1000's at a time) at a price less than 80 cents each.
If I remember correctly its due to legal issues when attempting to run promotions outside the country of a product's origin.Possibly the US FTC. I could easily be wrong though.
ReplyDeleteDon't sweat it people some of us can't even open the link up here in Canada...
ReplyDeleteI dont get why everyone gets so upset just because those of us in the US may get a few extra offers that other places do not. Heck, Europeans got ALL the good stuff, fairer laws, better looking places, actual HISTORY.This country is crap in my opinion, but as I am stuck here, dont fret. Id rather give up ALL my FB promos for the chance to move ANYPLACE else
ReplyDeleteYeah...I don't see anywhere in the Terms that us Canadians can participate...
ReplyDeleteJust got one! Only got 50 cents. Not enough for sim cash :(
ReplyDeleteEntered my first cap last week and won 100 credits
ReplyDeleteIs it available here in the Philippines?
ReplyDeleteAnd again, only for the USA & Canada! Just great!
ReplyDeleteWhen are they going to start treating us NON US/Canadian player like they should.
Time to get some promo deals outside those countries!
i can't buy one because i live in the netherlands...thats F*cked up...maybe they can make an other deal for us in the netherlands?
ReplyDeleteI haven't found any yet. Where are these things???
ReplyDeletereally wish all of you ppl would stop complaining. There are people that DO live here in the US that can't get the promos too. This is NOT the complaint dept. The complaint department is located at the World Trade Organization (WTO). Feel free to call them anytime. So please for the love of God STFU already!!! If you don't like it then don't play the game it's literally that simple! If you don't play then there will be a significant drop in the # of users and when that happens believe me it will get SOMEONE's attention! Sitting here and complaining gets you nowhere. Taking action and doing something about it does.
ReplyDeleteTo those that are saying its bc of laws i.e. Treaty on Trade and Tariffs comes to mind as does a little one called NAFTA (remember that old guy Newt Gingrich? yeah the Presidential one) that might apply here as well as others. Its all about them Benjamins. So you are correct it's that and also economics.
Holy crap does this mean I actually paid attention in college? I thought I partied and slept through the whole thing! Guess osmosis really does work
well the way i see it .its about time the U,S,A, keep something in the the U.S. because we send everything else out of the U.S. TO EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IN THIS WORD.SO STOP THE CRYING AND LET US HAVE SOMETHING
ReplyDeleteit says u can win between 5 and 5,000. so why is everyone only getting 1 FB credit?? they r rippin u off
ReplyDeletenone of your links work to redeem the codes WTF
