We believe that The Sims Social have signed a contract with car manufacturing giant Toyota and they may be introducing the new Toyota Prius V to players after the Alice In Wonderland theme finishes on Thursday 19th January as a quest reward.
Details of this spectacular event are still very hazy at the moment but the Toyota Prius V Car quest reward will surround the narrative of making sure your The Sims Social home is as green and environmentally friendly as possible. This will include 'Recycle' actions on Trash Cans and checking electrical appliances in your Sims home and we also believe the whole week may evolve around a Green Theme, which is of course the main USP of the new Toyota Prius V.The only downside to all of this is that it seems like you may only be able to borrow the Toyota Prius V Car for 2 weeks! We do not know if this is 100% accurate and we cannot understand the reasons behind it, but we are sure Playfish have a trick up their sleeves regarding this whole borrowing scenario. As usual with any Unreleased Items information and news, please be aware that any release dates and specifics could very well change at the discretion of The Sims Social developers, we are just trying to give you all a heads up as to what could be just around the corner.

Wow! I was just thinking of building a garage-themed room into my house, and if I can get a real car into it.. Woah, that's cool ain't it?? Thought about placing amplifiers and cartoon boxes into it but now I have to make some space for the car too! :D
ReplyDeleteif they plan to take the car back, then whats the point of wasting hard earned money, energy, and cash on it. i wont buy it then. its not worth it to me in the least.
ReplyDeleteIf the cars will be cash and only lendable for 2 weeks, I won't spend any of my money on it. I already think they're stealing money by having people play real money for hair colors, without stating that that said hair color will dissapear as soon as you change it to another color. What I buy with real money in the game should stay mine, for the entire run of the game, or until I decide to sell it. So nuff said, if this will be cash and only usable for 2 weeks after which it dissapears..they're not getting my money.

ReplyDeleteI like the idea of Green week (but it should be Green year, because a little Green is just not enough!) and I like the idea of eco-friendly cars also for Sims (all my Sims2 that have cars have the Ford hybrid Escape), but - will it be a working car, or only decoration, AGAIN? I.e. will Sims actually be able to drive somewhere in it? :P

ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's a quest reward because honestly, I'm not sure how much fun a car would be in our static Sim world at the moment and it takes up a lot of space (so I definitely wouldn't be using my treasured Simcash or simoleons.)
ReplyDeletetraffic jams and car accidents are coming to Littlehaven. I wonder if any Sims are going to wind up in Littlehaven general hospital due to their lack of proficient driving skills. Most sims have never driven a car. Oh Dear. KLAMANCHA AND TAKAZALSPRAZZ.

I think that the quest, should give everyone who does this quest, a car to keep forever... But, should promote other Vehicles, that range in how it operates per' cost. Like for an amount of Simoleons, a vehicle, motorcyle should have some great features.. But, for better features "social points" ... But to begin with, this here should be invited for all to enjoy, in keeping this if it's given with a quest... I think it would only be fair! Since, I'm a loyal player to Sim Social, I'm willing to do this quest - have been saving up a lot as far as Social Points and Simoleons... Let us, enjoy this round of joy by letting us keep our reward from quest, as I understand it will be from a Quest?! Is excited to hear more about this... Thanks, for this update. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and will it have interactions? If it's just for design, I don't know. ha ha! If it has interactions, I'll take it. If we can actually, use the road shown next to the Sim Home - to interact with it, that would be super fun... -- Just a thought!

ReplyDeleteAmazing!!! Im happy to hear that we can get the car as a quest reward! I really appreciate it..Im thinking where and which area in my sims house should i place it.. Have no enough space.. Im done with my land expansion but still no enough space..well anyways I can find a way.. Just hope its not gonna be temporary and we can keep it not just for 2 weeks but forever? :) Toyota is good enough for me so have no problem with the "brand" its great! My concern really is the limitation storage.. I dont wanna sell my old items just so I can buy/purchase new stuff...Hope they will add more space/storage..Thanks EA/playfish for everything! ReplyDeleteIf the car has no interactions and cannot take us anyplace it has no real point. also on the other hand- if the car can bring us places, let us travel to homes and places, and has intercations to it, it will glitch and freeze up the screens and ruin the in game play anyhow because things hardly load NOW

If it's gonna be for only 2 wks, then the car ain't worth the simscash aswell as questing for it or simoleons & social points. It's a total waste of time.
