We are not 100% sure as to when this huge update will drop but we have been provided with information stating that it could come as soon as this Thursday in conjunction with a three week Lifestyle theme and furniture collection.
As with the Vacation Home expansion, the City Penthouse will come pre packed with Free furniture that will need to be built and even a Helicopter to help your Sim avatar travel from home to home in a matter of seconds courtesy of the pictured Helipad.
What are your initial thoughts on this new City Penthouse location? Will you be buying it and taking part in the rumoured three week celebration? Are three homes to maintain too much? DeleteI think It will become available soon anyway, it looks a very similar style to the unreleased items previewed the other day :) Bit of a strange location to become available tho, considering on the locations map there is a forest, fields and mountains. It looks great tho :D

ReplyDeleteAmen to that. I went on a RL vaca for a week, and when i returned my sim beach house lot was covered with driftwood and seaweed! Who can waste time and energy cleaning up when they keep bombarding us with quests and 3-stage item builds that take every ounce of energy and every waking moment to complete? They really should increase base energy with every level. Or at least every ten levels! I will be getting the city loft though. Some London theme items would be very welcome also!

ReplyDeleteYea,I am excited about a new location:) but I would have LOVED a mountain locale instead.We already have a suburb home,then a beach house....not to mention all of the mountain terrain they show on the "locations" map:/ I designed my "main" home to look like a log cabin though,so I guess I'll be sticking with that until Sims makes a new retreat!
ReplyDeleteI *TRY* to play SimsCitySocial every day. I get stuck at 80% every day. I've been to the forums, where, on June 25, there was a promise posted from someone that the developers were aware of and working on the problem. NOTHING SINCE! I'd sure like to play that game!
ReplyDeleteAbout the three homes. I tend to stay at the beach house now, so with the new one, dependent upon how much room they give us (HINT: WE NEED MORE ROOM ON THE BEACH), I may just stay there. Who knows?

The boxes are connected to the net unlockable parts - you will only be able to clear the boxes once they open up the rest of the houise for everyone. You can clear the boxes for the living room, kitchen and balcony on the 11th at 8:00 pm
